The Gilded Spire
NOTE: In this zone, the beholder model mobs see invis (the balls with tons of eyes and a bunch of wings)
There are also 2 dragons (Zarel and Marala that seem to be constant respawn even though they're "rare". They were up constantly while I was there, other than about 15 minutes after i killed.. they have huge HP and are extremely resistant and immune to slows you will need to pass through there areas to do the partisan tasks, though they CAN be avoided if you're careful..for more info on them, see this post - https://iratus-lepus.com/forums/foru...-across-so-far)
Also - note that Goods Maps *and possibly others* label the floors in the European fashion, not the US fashion... I refer to floors based on US method in my walkthrough... US fashion means you start on the 1st floor, up one is 2nd floor, and so on... European you start on the ground or lobby floor, then go up one to 1st floor, up another to 2nd, and so on... so, if you took the ramp up to "4th floor" per map and aren't seeing the stuff I say is on 2nd floor, try going back down one

Turn it in and he’ll give you Tainted Voidcrab Meat - Put the tainted meat in the food meant for the invaders
In the center of this floor is a long ass table covered with food. In the middle is “pile of crab” give the tainted meat to pile of crab (clear mobs nearby if needed) - Return to Fipnoc
Hail him to finish task
pre-req partisan # 1
Fipnoc gives you Aureate Plant Pouch (3 slot tradeskill type container)
- Locate the first plant in a garden area
up 1 floor from entry – two spots that I found /loc 440, -260 & 430, 310 (two in each area) – Exotic Aureate Fungi
looks like a white mushroom - Locate the second plant in a garden area
up on the 3rd floor up on the outside part of floor in gardens are bamboo looking ground spawns /loc 660, -480, 650 & 770, -350, 650 are two of them – Exotic Auereate Shoot - Locate the third plant in a garden area
Same level as # 2, though a bit farther up and on opposite side are pumpkins /loc 30, 330, 700 & 180, 395, 705 are two of them – Exotic Aureate Gourd
Once you have all three, you get step 4 - Secure the exotic plants in the pouch Fipnoc gave you
Combine them in Aureate Plant Pouch to create Secured Aureate Plant Pouch - Deliver the pouch to Fipnoc Birribit
turn in and get Indexed Aureate Spell Scribe and next step - Deliver the spell scribe to Mokolin
Head to The Theater of Eternity and give to Mokin to receive a key – Fipnoc’s Escape - Return to Fipnoc with the key
Do as it says!
Partisan # 1 & # 2 – if they aren’t done, he says, “Get out of here. You don’t want what I got”
He gives you Dreamweaver Incense. A click from inventoy item with effect “Burn the Dreamweaver incense”
- Use the Dreamweaver incense on Narthu
Head up to the 4th floor (note: it seems goods maps uses European floor numbering – ground floor, then 1st floor, then 2nd, etc.. rather than calling ground floor the first floor like they do in US. So, if looking at his maps, subtract 1 from my number ).
If you move carefully, you can avoid Zerak and Mirala (they seem to always be up other than about 15 minutes after being killed).. just head up a ramp carefully…if you come up behind, walk slowly behind… if they are heading toward you, turn around and go up the other direction. Or just have fun grinding down close to a billion HPs on each!
Narthu is at 260, 240, 850 – clear nearby see invis mob, target and click the incense (using the incense does NOT break invis)… you can actually probably avoid the see invis by approaching from the middle of where the 4 sick dragons are rather than directly from the ramp up. - Use the Dreamweaver incense on Quirin
Just NW of Narthu /loc 290, 175, 850, same process - Use the Dreamweaver incense on Valanor
a bit north of NW /loc 375, 225, 850, same process - Use the Dreamweaver incense on Valanor
Straight north /loc 505, 210, 850, same process - Return the incense to Korendi
Back down to task giver and turn in – going down, you can avoid the named dragons by jumping over side and dropping down rather than running down ramp - Kill Bellafore and retrieve his eye
Ballafore is on the 3rd floor, up on a platform (but not up the ramp to 4th floor)… clear mobs near him and then kill him.
I killed the mob to his right, then pulled him into that spot and got no adds – he’s no harder than zone trash
Loot Ballafore’s Eye – with 4 toons with task, I got 4, don’t know if there is a limit to number he’ll drop. - Sabotage the call for Reinforcements
Per the task notes, “Say the command ‘Cancel Reinforcement Protocols’ into the crystal in the command room.
Head all the way to the top of the spire.
On north wall, you’ll see command microphone. Target it and /say “Cancel Reinforcement Protocols” You can do this invis, and though there are see-invis mobs in room, you can get by them easily - Sabotage the return home
per task notes, say “cancel Return Contingency” so, in same spot as step 7, /say that. Again, you can be invis. - Bring Ballafore’s eye to Koredi
Turn in the eye.
