    All good stuff there.

Thats just the wireless network card. They are a dime a dozen and even if you get a bad one, you can get a USB wireless stick to replace it for like 20 bucks. I would be more interested in making sure there is a wired LAN.

So, I don't really want to spend this much... is this overkill for EQ? what would be a system (dell.com) that would work great? Thanks!

I run 2 Alienware's for dualboxing Drakah/Drakaz, payed somewhere between $1200/$1800 each, but I also do play other MMO's and is worth every penny to me.
If you are just playing EQ only, then I am sure you could do the Dell Inspiron Gaming PC and can save you some money.
          https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/desk...desktop?~ck=bt
Price starts at $599 up to the $1199 one.

Using Drakah's link, I would advise starting with the i5-8100 as the lowest CPU.

I'd suggest the dual hard drive for 256gb SSD with 1tb spinning disk.

I have bought Dell XPS machines in the past and they are wonderful too - might be a notch up from the Inspiron.

Honestly, 1TB SSD's are pretty cheap now. I've been thinking about buying them in bulk.

What do you have now and is the problem just lag in some zones? It's possible you could just upgrade the hard drive or add some memory. Just reinstalling windows could take care of the issue if there is not an actual hardware problem as well. I'd be happy to help troubleshoot it with you if you want, before you drop a grand on a new pc.
